A badge you have received grows more valuable the more you share it. You can attach your achievement in a verifiable form anywhere — a resume, a LinkedIn profile, social media, a presentation deck. This document explains the channels and visibility settings in the share window.

Opening the share window

  1. On the badge detail page, tap the [Share this achievement] button. The share window opens.

  2. In the preview card at the top of the window, first check how it will look to others when shared.

Confirming it worked

If the share page opens when you tap the channel you want, or the “Copied” notice appears after [Copy link], you are ready to share.

Troubleshooting

I opened the link but it says “Private” If the badge’s visibility is set to private, even people who receive the link cannot see it. Change it to ‘anyone with the link’ or ‘public’ under [Visibility settings].

The name on the share card appears hidden Depending on the issuer’s policy, your name may appear as a pseudonym when shared externally. On your own logged-in screen, your real name is shown.

Frequently asked questions

When someone opens the shared link, they see the badge image, the issuer, and a verifiable credential card together. The person who receives the link can check the credential without logging in. You can preview how it looks to them in the preview card at the top of the share window.
Yes. The shared certificate screen also includes the [Verify credential] button and a verification QR. The person who receives the link can confirm authenticity directly using the standard format, without the issuer's server. This is because the record is stored in the tamper-proof W3C Verifiable Credentials standard.
Yes. Under [Visibility settings] at the bottom of the share window, you can choose between public, anyone with the link, and private. The default is that only people who receive the link can see it. If you switch to private, even people with the link cannot see it.
You can copy the link and paste it anywhere — a resume, an email — or download the certificate PNG and attach it. For LinkedIn, use [Add to LinkedIn profile] on the badge detail page to register it automatically under your certifications. For printed materials or presentation decks, save the QR image and insert it.
Yes. If you switch [Visibility settings] to private, the badge will not appear even for someone opening a link you already shared. You can make it visible again at any time by switching back to anyone with the link or public. Visibility can be changed on the detail page even after sharing.
No. The person who receives the link can view the badge without logging in or signing up. The share screen displays the badge image, the issuer, and the verification card together, so authenticity is confirmed right there. However, if visibility is set to private, even people with the link cannot see it.
